In mid-June 2025, several standout Milpitas High School athletes competed at the prestigious Nike Outdoor Nationals at Hayward Field—an exciting, fast-paced event featuring top high school talent from across the country MileSplit United States.


Milpitas Highlights
Girls Emerging Elite Division:
- Kaya Jean took on the 400m hurdles and delivered a strong performance with a time of 1:07.70, finishing 41st in her heat MileSplit United States.
- Aziza Acosta went the distance in both middle-distance events:
- 1500m — clocked 5:05.24, finishing 78th.
- 1600m (1 mile) — ran 5:24.75, also placing 78th MileSplit United States.
Boys Emerging Elite Division:
- Maddox Storlie represented Milpitas in the sprints:
- 100m dash — recorded 11.00, earning 20th in the prelims.
- 200m dash — posted 22.58, placing 64th in prelims MileSplit United States.
- Arnav Agrawal shined in distance:
- 3000m run — impressive time of 8:41.01, finishing 17th overall, one of the top performances of the team.
- Abhinav Chakrad also competed in the 3000m, crossing the line in 8:56.03, placing 49th MileSplit United States.
- The Boys 4×100m relay team split 43.07 in prelims, finishing 16th MileSplit United States.
- The Sprint Medley Relay team (1600m SMR) ran 3:47.50, placing 20th in its finals heat MileSplit United States.
